Music
I wish that I could fly
Into the sky
So very high
Just like a dragonfly

I'd fly above the trees
Over the seas in all degrees
To anywhere I please

Oh I want to get away
I want to fly away
Yeah yeah yeah
I want to get away
I want to fly away

Been listening to the early Rolling Stones singles and albums all night, the ones with all the blues covers. And now I'm listening to the originals.

[... original. non-working, yt post removed ...]

Just a note, Lino.  The Youtube posting here doesn't work out of the box.  You need to copy the full (non-mobile) link from Youtube and then affix

&feature=youtu.be

to the end.  So the full video/youtube url for STW (after selecting video/youtube) would be:

Code:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XITBuWNROk&feature=youtu.be

Thus:

No music today, but just some hippie-sounding guy reading the Tao Te Ching while nature sounds are playing:

I go back to this book every once in a while. I can't vouch as to the accuracy of this or any other translations, but it's very soothing.

Lately I've been very high-energy, mind exploding with ideas, inquisitive, argumentative, rebellious, and entirely too horny. I've been having spells like this ever since I started improving my diet, fitness, sleep and game since the corona situation. I sometimes joke that I'm going through second puberty and I'm getting younger every day, but there's a grain of truth to this. I've never had my T levels tested so don't know if it's that or just mental.

Anyway, while being energetic and active is great, it also brings some mental turmoil and side effects like trying too hard. So at points like this I like to go back to old stuff, stuff that works. To seek tranquility and think about concepts like "doing by not doing". I don't have the attention span to meditate like some people do, but I like to just listen to this during the working day while doing some work that doesn't require a lot of mental effort, so I can let the words wash over me.
